6th Assignment: Preparation for the 1st test

The following task is taken from a real English test. Follow the instructions and write around 150-200 words.

You want to go to Notting Hill Festival this year. It's a big music festival which is held every year in the west part of London, in Notting Hill. Write a letter to the TIC of Notting Hill and ask for the following information.

 suitable beginning
 festival programme
 accommodation
 ticket prices
 how to get there from the Heathrow Airport
 suitable ending

I don't think it was difficult to write 150 - 200 words. I write easily more than 200 words!

Err, the deathline is tomorrow?
I think it is/was a good exercise for the test on friday or pass exam

I don't think that 150 words is too demanding for our course either. Most of the assignments I've corrected so far can be considered quite alright.

Well, guys and gals, I've just finished correcting the test, so you will be getting it back either on Tuesday or on Thursday. I think the latter (Thursday) is more likely. Oh and no questions like "What mark did I get?" "Did I do fine?" "Will I get a pony for Christmas?"

All I can say is that it was quite alright. I'd say like our last test, but maybe even a bit better because this time some people finally understood that learning is actually not such a bad idea.
